34 Goals for 33:

34 Goals for 33:

  1. Get a job.  Like its just a simple to do that I can devote a weekend to and then cross off my list.
  2. Move into our new place.  Once we figure out where that will be.  And get a new place.
  3. Get Elwood acclimated to said new neighborhood.
  4. Get a statement jacket. I'm thinking a unique shade of blue.  Or a pattern.  A navy and white pattern that isn't too nautical perhaps?
  5. Clean out my closet of clothes I don't really wear or like that much.
  6. Run/exercise three times a week.  Every week.  Exceptions for vacations and serious illness.
  7. Become able to do ten proper push ups.  In a row.
  8. Run a marathon.  Signed up for Portland, so hopefully that one.
  9. Run a half marathon for a PR.
  10. Swim at least six times.  In the entire year.
  11. Learn to use chopsticks well.
  12. Try seafood. See if allergy is over. Be prepared in case it's not.
  13. Take a cooking class.
  14. Take a bartending class.
  15. Find a local restaurant to become our go to place to replace the Italian restaurant in Munich just around the corner from our apartment.  As if anything could replace it.
  16. Host a dinner party.  Ideally a few, but I'll start with one.
  17. Host a kick ass bridal shower for Karina.
  18. Host a Christmas party.  Serve glühwein in our mugs.
  19. Play tour guide Barbie for Scandinavian relatives in town for wedding.
  20. Volunteer at least twice.  In the whole year.  Setting the bar low so that I actually achieve this.
  21. Each month Skype/phone call / email chat with an old friend.
  22. Weekly blog update about status of my goals.  Or maybe monthly.
  23. Try art nails at least once.
  24. Get dolled up at least once. Weddings count, if I'm not in it.
  25. Not buy any makeup, nail polish, lotion, face wash, etc unless it is to replace something I have used fully.  I suspect this one will be among the hardest for me. Also, if people want to buy me these items as gifts, that would be ok.
  26. Properly remove all make up before going to bed every night.
  27. Finally part with all old crafting supplies that I haven't used in ages.
  28. Read a book a month.  Starting five books in one month doesn't count.  Need to finish one per month.  I suspect a book club might help with this, but they usually don't cover books I'm interested in.  Hmmm.
  29. Figure out something great for our ten year anniversary.  Wedding party reunion??
  30. Go to Tahiti over water huts or somewhere equally great to utilize SPG (hotel) status before it expires.
  31. Make book out of blog and photos from Europe.
  32. Get someone to do a caricature drawing of Europe highlights for cover of the book.
  33. Finally get a will made up.
  34. Have more sangria. Sure I enjoyed lots of other things about Spain, but this seems easiest to bring back to the US, since I don't know that I can get an employer to be ok with me taking a three hour lunch/siesta break every afternoon.
